Marco V. Carvajal is one of the guitar and music teachers at MusiDream.com in Palm Coast, Florida; He has been teaching electric and acoustic guitar, classical guitar, piano, harmony, vocals, composition, music production, and music theory since 1985. Reading music and music theory is one of the base elements he focus on every student as this is an important element to play well any musical instrument. Marco has been studying guitar and music theory since he was 7 years old, later on adding piano, bass keyboards, music production, harmony, and more. He loves teaching and playing all music styles ranging from classical to pop, rock and christian music. In addition to playing, Marco is also very experienced with pro-audio, live production, concert production, media, social media promotion, web design, music business, touring and travel and other aspects of the music business.
Marco studied at the Music Conservatory University of Costa Rica, at the University of Miami, and he also received extended education through private music courses in Music Theory, Electric Guitar, Piano, Vocals, Pro Audio, Music Production, Harmony, Recording, and more.
Marco has worked with many famous musicians, producing concerts, recording, and touring all over the world. He has also been a member of the music worship team at Parkview Church, where he loves to serve and plays since many years ago. He likes to teach music and to push his students through challenges, and to make an effort to reach the next level in half the time that most other teachers will do, advancing fast through difficult and valuable exercises, techniques, and knowledge of scales, chords, harmony, and more music tools that will help students advance faster. Marco loves music performance, and he shares his passion and love for music with hia students. Marco’s philosophy is that every person should learn to read music and to play an instrument, even if you just want to play as a hobby or go pro, learning to play can only bring benefits for any person.

Experienced Music Teacher
Marco Carvajal has been teaching students to learn Piano and music theory since 1985. She teaches all ages, from young children to adults, at any level, from beginner to advanced levels.
Marco teaches his students to play acoustic, classical guitar, and also electric guitar, to read music, and music theory. You don’t need to have any music knowledge or experience, he will help you learn all the necessary basics to start to music quickly.
After the first private lessons, Marco starts to teach his students to play songs, scales, chords, harmony, and to read music, so they can start to enjoy the beautiful melodies played with their fingers.
Depending on the student’s time and budget, we recommend one or two one-hour weekly lessons. We provide students with all books and materials, as well as homework and guidance on what to practice at home. He recommends that students practice one hour per day at home at least five days per week. The more you practice at home, the more you are going to learn from our private music lessons.
Marco has a very unique and creative music teaching method. He likes to teach you to play and to help you develop your own music performing style. We teach you all the music tools, but you put them together in your creative music mind and personal style.

I like to keep a perfect balance between the enjoyment of playing instruments and learning. My students learn to have a strength with knowledge and a base in music theory and music fundamentals. Once the students are familiar with their instrument, I like to teach scales, chords, songs, improvisation, and composition. I take into account my students’ opinions and desires in terms of the genre of music they want to learn, because at the end, what’s important is that they’re gaining a lifelong skill while having fun at the same time! My favorite genre of music to play is pop and rock, and I also enjoy playing classical, christian music, jazz and electronic music.
